At Mark Rutherford Sixth Form we offer a full range of courses at A Level, AS and BTEC level, as well as a Football Academy.  These qualifications allow students to choose a programme of study which will allow them to achieve their goals. 

Mark Rutherford Sixth Form is big enough to provide choice, yet small enough to care.  Every year students join us from other schools and countries. 

All students have a personal tutor and access to an experienced cadre of subject teachers.  All are encouraged to undertake extra-curricular activities.  We hope to provide our students with real breadth to their studies.  Young Enterprise Scheme, sport, drama, music, outside speakers and subject conferences are all organised.  
Notably we encourage our students to take responsibility. A number of Sixth Form students have important roles within school and the Sixth Form has an elected committee which organises many events.

In addition, guidance is provided on University and career entry.  Every year the vast majority of our students choose to apply to continue their studies in Higher Education.  We pride ourselves on the support we give to help individuals achieve their aims.
