Learning Support Assistants in the Autism Centre
Required for an immediate start
Fixed term to August 2022
(in the first instance linked to funding and pupil numbers)

Term time only plus 5 training days
27 hours 30 mins per week - Monday to Friday
To be worked between 8.45 -2.55
Level 2a (points 3 - 4) starting at point 3.
Actual salary: £12064.97 to £12306.11pa

Due to an internal promotion and an increase in pupil numbers, we require some enthusiastic and committed people to work as part of our Inclusion Team, as Learning Support Assistants linked to the Nightingale Autism Centre.

Experience of working with secondary age students with additional needs would be desirable, but not essential as training will be available. Your role will be to support students in the Nightingale Centre or in lessons across the whole school.

Due to an increase in student numbers we require an enthusiastic and committed person to work as part of our Inclusion Team, as Learning Support Assistant linked to the Learning Support Centre, with an interest in Design and Technology. Experience of working with secondary age students with additional needs would be desirable, but not essential.

The role will be to support students and teachers primarily in Design Technology but also when necessary across the school in all departments.

Experience of working with students with additional needs would be desirable although specialised training will be available.

EXAM INVIGILATORS
Pay scale: NJC Level 2a point 3 - £9.62 per hour

We are currently looking to recruit a pool of Exam Invigilators to form a team who will be responsible for supervising students sitting examinations throughout the school year.

The hours are flexible and would ideally suit a person living locally and looking to work occasional hours as and when required. You must be available for a minimum of 3 days a week or 5 sessions per week, bearing in mind that you will need to arrive in school by 8am for morning exams. Afternoon exams are usually timetabled for an approximate start time of 12.45pm and finish by 3.00pm. A Level exams can run as late as 4.30pm.

Applicants will need to be able to invigilate 11th 22nd January 2021 and be available for the summer exams which will take place between 24th May 2021 and 9th July 2021.
