Sixth Form tutoring
Sixth Form tutors provide support, guidance and inspiration to students who are transitioning into the Sixth Form in Year 12, and for students in Year 13 as they make their choices about post-18 routes (whether this be university, apprenticeships or employment/other training).
All students follow a programme delivered in tutor time which develops independent learning skills, and is tailored to suit students’ needs at each point in their Sixth Form experience. Students see their tutors daily, and the tutor team is made up of experienced subject teachers who have a significant amount of post-16 teaching responsibility across a range of subjects. Tutors are the first port of call for any issues students may encounter, and there are always competitions and rewards for the most successful tutor group/tutees, in a range of categories!
